Firstly, make sure you have the correct cleaning card kit for the Fargo printer.
If needed you can buy the Fargo cleaning cards here.
Ensure you remove the print ribbon and cards from the printer before starting the cleaning process.
- Next we want to go to the printer driver - Under Settings -> Devices & Printers ->
- Click on the DTC1250e Printer and then select 'Printing Preferences'
- Under the 'card' tab, you will see a button down the bottom called 'toolbox'. Open toolbox.
- Click the 'clean printer tab'
- Now then click 'clean'
- You will then peel the adhesive covering from the cleaning cards, and insert a card into the printer
