New laminate rolls do not come with a empty take up core. Use the now empty core from the used laminate that you are replacing.
Tips when taping the laminate to the new core.
Place new laminate and empty take up core on a flat surface as below.
You will notice that both black laminate cores have a flange on the bottom. Make sure these are both on the bottom when fixing the new laminate to the new core.
Make sure the laminate is sitting flat across the bottom of the core, and is not on an angle.
